Peternet Electronics was founded 12 years ago on October 17, 2005, when it was still a single business. Since the beginning of 2007 we continued as BVBA. In 12 years a lot has changed. In the early years, a website was just something extra that helps you to showcase your activities. Mouth-to-mouth advertising and networking was the most important advertising in our early years. Did you know that Peternet Electronics was founded in the same year as Youtube? Watch how the Youtube website grew over the years and now has a huge collection of high definition videos. The smartphone at that time was an expensive gadget that had not had the potential as it is today. In addition, it was affordable for only a minority of people. Slowly, it was also important for smaller companies that a website should look graphically attractive and have a professional appearance while clearly demonstrating the company’s activities. Now The next few years, the emergence and development of the smartphone came in a hurricane and more and more people searched the Internet for solutions to their various problems or questions. A website should not only show what you do in a way you read a newspaper. It is now also a fully-fledged communication tool that interacts with the visitor and integrates the various social media such as Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Google+, LinkedIn, …. With the advent of devices like tablets and smartphones, it becomes increasingly important that the website is displayed on any device user-friendly and clearly. The website adapts itself to the device on which it is opened which is called responsive web design. Today, a website is more a means of communication than a presentation tool. Therefore, we decided to build a new website with a lot of new functionality and improvements.

Peternet Electronics website 2005

2005: Very simple website and primitive design with good visual contrast to showcase what Peternet Electronics is and does. The advantage is that this website was so lightweight that it was extremely fast and loaded in a fraction of a second :-). Similarly, this barely took place on the server.

Peternet Electronics website version 2006

2006: We build our next version, which is graphically much more beautiful thanks to background graphics and graphics buttons instead of the very simple style with single colors in the first version. Our electronics design activity became more and more important and we added this to our website. From this version you could contact us via a contact form on the website so that you could send us a message without having to open your email client.

Peternet Electronics website 2008

2008: We built a graphic modern well-styled website with beautiful graphic content. This website was enthusiastically welcomed with a lot of positive responses to its beautiful graphic design, content and the clear way we showed we are. This is the first website that could be consulted in two languages ​​Dutch and English. We added a credentials page where you could see some of our achievements from the past few years. An information page was added where you could find all kinds of useful articles about electronics and about us. We also added a news page where you could read the latest news about Peternet Electronics and other electronics-related news releases.

2017: Here he is, our new website. He has a responsive design that always looks beautiful on any device, whether it’s mobile or not. This website is a lively website with beautiful graphic animations. Where we had languages ​​in the previous version 2, this website is now available in 4 languages ​​Dutch, English, French and German. Another new feature is the road shop where we will offer fantastic products for sale. The news page and the useful info page of our previous version has now taken place for a blog section that will show you many interesting articles about electronics and software as well as about Peternet Electronics grouped into different categories. Please come back here from time to time because new pages will appear on this page. We also made the connection with the social media. At the bottom of the website you can see the social media icons Facebook and LinkedIn where you can find us. Also, each blog post can be shared on different social media with the relevant share buttons.
